- Engine running, doors locked — remote starts and quick "I'll just be a second" stops do this constantly; this one's urgent and we treat it that way
- Keys locked in the trunk — most vehicles let us unlock the cabin and release the trunk from inside
- Fob battery dead so the car won't recognize the key (check the hidden mechanical key in your fob first — we'll walk you through it on the phone, free)
- Child or pet locked in — tell dispatch immediately; this jumps every queue, and if there's real distress, call 911 first. Glass is cheaper than tragedy.
Where it happens
Lockout calls cluster where life is busiest: outside the bars and venues of the Depot District at midnight, gas pumps along University Ave, the lots at South Plains Mall, and the parking garages at Texas Tech. Wherever it is, have your ID handy — a legitimate service verifies you actually own the vehicle before opening it, and you should want it that way.
Lost keys entirely?
An unlock gets you into the car, but it can't make a key. If the keys are truly gone — not locked inside — you'll need a locksmith or dealer for a replacement fob. We can tow the vehicle to the dealership so you're not stranded next to a car you can't start.
